Johnsonburg baseball advances to PIAA championship game

Photo by Becky Polaski Members of the Johnsonburg Rams baseball team celebrate following their 8-1 victory over California Tuesday. The Rams will meet Canton Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park on the Penn State campus for the PIAA Class A championship.

Johnsonburg's school year may have ended over a week ago but the Rams' success in the PIAA playoffs this season sure hasn't.
Johnsonburg advanced to the PIAA Class A championship game with an 8-1 win over WPIAL champion California in the PIAA semifinals Tuesday night at First Commonwealth Bank Field in Homer City.
