Joseph A. Sette

Joseph A. Sette, 86, of Lock Haven, died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012 at Lock Haven Hospital.
He was born Sept. 24, 1926, in Renovo, the son of the late Frank and Concettina Curato Sette.
He had been a Lock Haven resident since the end of WWII. Mr. Sette was Catholic by faith. He had served in the U.S. Navy and was a veteran of WWII. He had been employed at Lock Haven University.
He is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Dora Santiso of Ridgway, Patsy Sette of Erie, Viola Eckert of St. Marys, Carmen Sette of Spain, Delores Sette of Ridgway, and Mary Harrier of Emporium; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters, Mackina Sette and Rose Iorfido; and by two brothers, John and Dominick Sette.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Joseph A. Sette will be celebrated at St. Leo's Catholic Church on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2012 at 11 a.m. Officiating will be Fr. Brian Vossler, pastor.
Interment will be in St. Leo’s Cemetery. Friends will be received at the Meehan-Shilk Funeral Home on Saturday morning for two hours prior to Mass beginning at 9 a.m. Military honors will be accorded by the Ridgway Military Honor Detail.
