Joshua D. "Josh" Erich, 22, of 527 Memory Court, Girard and formerly of St. Marys, died Saturday, May 25, 2013 in Girard as a result of a motor vehicle accident.
He was born November 18, 1990 in St. Marys, son of David Erich of St. Marys and Renee Glover Ando of Buffalo, N.Y.
He was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of the St. Marys Area High School, Class of 2009. He had also graduated from Triangle Tech in Erie. He was employed as a Specialty Maintenance Electrician at F&S Tool in Erie.
He loved his daughter and was a hard worker. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, and skiing. He enjoyed sports: basketball, baseball, and football. He was fond of his dog, Thor.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a daughter, Riley Nicole Erich of Girard; his step-mother, Diana O'Brien Erich of St. Marys; his step-father, Michael Ando of Buffalo, N.Y.; two brothers, Zachary Erich at home and Logan M. Erich at home; his maternal grandparents, Richard and Nancy Glover of Austin, and Darlene and Ken Pruyn of Erie; his paternal grandparents, Laverne Erich of St. Marys and Connie Geiser of St. Marys; and his aunts and uncles, Richard Glover, Elizabeth Eberle, Valerie Erich, and Charlie Palmer.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Marilyn Erich.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Joshua D. "Josh" Erich will be celebrated in the Queen of the World Church on Thursday, May 30 at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Michael Ferrick, Pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery.
Visitation is at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Wednesday evening, from 5-8 p.m.
