Judith Helen Sparks

Judith Helen Sparks, 73, formerly of St. Marys, died Aug. 5, 2014 in Casa Grande, Ariz.
She was born June 19, 1941 in St. Marys, daughter of Daniel and Sophia (Gapinski) Lenze.
Judy earned her master's degree from OSU. She worked for 38 years as a teacher, principal and specialized tutor in several Catholic schools. She retired from Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Grove City, Ohio.
She has been a resident of Casa Grande, Ariz. for the last three and half years. Judy was a loving and caring person whose gifts of knitting, needlepoint and painting will be cherished by many. Judy will be sadly missed.
She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Bob; a brother, Daniel (Linda) Lenze of St. Marys; step-children Karen Southern, Mona (Richard) Ballard and James (Samantha) Southern; and many grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, Aug. 18 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help. Interment will follow at Muhlenburg Township Cemetery in Darbyville, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Judy's memory to Baby Will, 3971 Hoover Rd., Suite 369, Grove City, Ohio 43123 (for SIDS research). Visitation will be Sunday, Aug. 17 from 5-8 p.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Life Center, 3730 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio.
