Judith "Judy" A. Smith

Judith "Judy" A. Smith, 67, of 138 Hemlock Rd., St. Marys, died early Tuesday morning, Jan. 11, 2011 at her residence after a brief illness.
She was born on July 29, 1943, in St. Marys, daughter of the late Norman and Eva Brennen Stauffer.
She was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of Elk County Christian High School, Class of 1961. She was a retired employee of Powdered Metal Products.
Mrs. Smith enjoyed taking trips to Salamanca with her friends. Her hobbies included collecting Beanie Babies and Denim Days. She enjoyed gardening and especially enjoyed being with her grandchildren.
She is survived by a daughter, Brenda Bellina and her husband Paul of St. Marys; her fiancee and companion Walter "Ed" Rote of St. Marys; and four grandchildren, Chadwick Hefright, Lydia Hefright, Taylor Raeanne Bellina, and Matthew Bellina.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Gwendolyn Hefright, in 2004; two grandchildren, Evelyn Hefright and Samuel Bellina; and by a sister, Norma Struble.
Family and friends of Judith A. "Judy" Smith are invited to attend a memorial service at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Saturday, Jan. 29 at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Michael Ferrick officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
