Judith L. Buehler

Judith L. Buehler, 72, of 3627 Montmorenci Rd., Ridgway, died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Monday, Feb. 7, 2011 following a lengthy illness.
She was born on April 13, 1938, in Ridgway, daughter of the late LeRoy and Verna (Anderson) Johnson.
She married James F. Buehler on June 18, 1955. He preceded her in death on June 30, 2008.
She resided in Ridgway all of her life and was a faithful Christian. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. She was a homemaker who loved to bake, sew, knit and spend time with her family. Everyone who knew her was touched by her kind and loving spirit.
She is survived by two daughters, Sherry L. Sampson and her husband Donald of Ridgway, and Jolene M. Pelgrin and her husband Jack of Kersey; two sons, James O. Buehler and his wife Patti of Ridgway and Andrew L. Buehler and his wife Diana of Ridgway; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Larry Johnson and his wife Linda of Ridgway; and a nephew, Robert Johnson and his family from Little Rock, Ark.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, James, in infancy; and her first granddaughter, Heather Rae Buehler Armanini, who died on July 7, 2008.
Funeral and committal services for Judith L. Buehler will be held at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church on Thursday, Feb. 10 at 11 a.m., with Pastor Erik Hart officiating. Burial will follow at the Oakmont Cemetery.
Visitation for will be held at the Thompson Funeral Home on Wednesday, Feb. 9 from 5 to 8 p.m.
