K9 Karnival taking place today

Photo submitted Bernie is housed at the Elk County Humane Society and is hoping to be adopted soon. Proceeds from today's K-9 Karnival Walk 'n Wag benefit the society.

Now in its 11th year, the annual K-9 Karnival Walk 'n Wag, sponsored by the Elk County Humane Society, is taking place this afternoon at Benzinger Park in St. Marys beginning at 11 a.m. There will be games, prizes and more.
Aggressive dogs and female canines in heat are discouraged from attending.
