Karen Louise Plyler

Karen Louise Plyler died peacefully in her sleep on the morning of Thursday, July 25, 2013.
She was the daughter of the late Robert and Agnes Eileen Biank of Nappanee, Ind.
She had lived in Elkhart, Ind. since the spring of 1983. She was a graduate of Johnsonburg High School, Class of 1969.
She loved nature and the outdoors. She enjoyed listening to music and loved to cook. She truly enjoyed the friendships she had made over the years through Faith Mission Home and Oaklawn. She will be forever loved and missed by many.
She is survived by a son, Brian Plyler; a brother, Robert E. and his wife Shirley Biank of Ridgway; a sister, Donna (Biank) and husband Mark Frushour of Granite Falls, N.C.; and three nephews, Anthony, Trevor, and Thomas Frushour.
A funeral service for Karen Louise Plyler will be held on Friday, Aug. 9, at 10 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Johnsonburg.
