Karlik sees bright future for eye clinic

As the new owner of the Elk County Eye Clinic, Dr. Brett Karlik, M.D., ophthalmologist, plans to continue offering quality eye care to area patients as well as expanding upon the clinic's current services.
Having worked at the clinic since January 2011, Karlik took ownership of the facility in June from his peer and longtime St. Marys ophthalmologist Luis W. Lu, M.D.
"It's pretty exciting. It's a big clinic. We do a lot of eye surgery and provide a lot of services for the eye that you typically don't see in a small town," Karlik said.
