It may have taken a few days longer than originally scheduled, but the St. Marys Area Lady Dutch and Elk County Catholic Lady Crusaders finally faced off in the championship game of the Elk County Softball Tournament on Tuesday afternoon at the SMAHS softball field. It was certainly worth the wait too as both teams put in a good showing and needed to go to extra innings before the Lady Dutch walked off for a 3-2 victory in the bottom of the eighth.
