Lawrence F. Serafini, 67, of 101 N. Mill St., Ridgway, died Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at Elk Regional Health Center.
He was born February 20, 1944, in Ridgway, the son of the late Benny and Mary Cantafio Serafini Sr.
He had lived most of his life in Ridgway. Larry enjoyed bowling. He had been employed at Clarion Sintered Metals for 40 years, retiring in 2006.
He is survived by his brother, Benny Serafini Jr. (Barbara) of Dayton, Ohio; a niece, Lisa Serafini of Columbus, Ohio; two nephews, David Blauser of Dayton, Ohio and Brian Serafini of Lexington, Ky.; a great-nephew, Kyle Serafini of Dayton, Ohio; and by several cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Linda Blauser.
Funeral services for Lawrence F. Serafini will be held at the convenience of the family.
Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Brandy Camp.
There will be no visitation.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Meehan-Shilk Funeral Home.
