Lawrence L. “Bud” Parks

Lawrence L. “Bud” Parks, 82, of Old Kane Rd, Wilcox, died Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at Highland View Health Care after a short illness.
He was born Dec. 22, 1928 in Johnsonburg, son of the late Lawrence L. and Vivian (Klase) Parks. He married Angeline “Angie” DeChano of Wilcox, who survives.
He lived all his life in Johnsonburg and Wilcox and worked at the Johnsonburg Paper Mill for 43 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.  In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Ray (Sherry) Wantuck of Brockway; two grandchildren, Rick Wantuck and Mrs. Sheridan (Erin) Williams; a brother, Calvin Parks of St. Marys; and a sister, Jeannine Schreiber of St. Marys.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by three brothers, Harold, Bruce and Dick Parks; and two sisters, Audrey Miller and Ruth Lewis.
Private funeral services for Lawrence L. "Bud" Parks will be held at the family's convenience.
Interment will take place at Parklawn Memorial Gardens in Ridgway.
There will be no visitation.
The family suggests memorials to a favorite charity.
