Lawrence T. “Larry” McGeehan

Lawrence T. “Larry” McGeehan, 60, of Lewis Run, and formerly of Brownsville, died on Friday, June 8, 2012 at his home. 
He was born on Aug. 7, 1951 in Bethlehem, a son of the late John and Elizabeth Durnin McGeehan.
He was a graduate of the St. Marys High School. He received his undergraduate degree and his master’s degree from John Carroll University, University Heights, Ohio and he received his Ph.D. from Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoyed spending time outdoors; he also loved to spend time in the kitchen and cook.
He is survived by two sons, Brian (Ann) McGeehan and Miles (Katherine) McGeehan, all of Bozeman, Mont.; three brothers, Jack McGeehan of Philadelphia, Dennis (Debra) McGeehan of Kersey, and Paul (Roseanne) McGeehan of Erie; three sisters, Frances Hack, Mary Beth (Don) Callahan, and Ann (Lisa) McGeehan, all of Millville; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service for Lawrence T. "Larry" McGeehan will be held at the convenience of the family.
At the family’s request, there will be no visitation.   
Memorial contributions in his memory can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Mascho Funeral Home, Inc., Bradford.
