Lee Joseph Cook, 57, of 914 Windfall Rd., St. Marys, formerly of Emporium, died Monday afternoon, Feb. 28, 2011, at his residence.
He was born June 22, 1953 in St. Marys, son of Bessie Priest Cook of Emporium, and the late Lee C. Cook.
He graduated from Cameron County High School, Class of 1973. He resided at Oak Manor in St. Marys for 37 years and worked at Elcam for over 37 years. He enjoyed his family, Christmas, his dogs, Elvis Presley and collecting Elvis memorabilia, mowing grass and fishing. He enjoyed playing lottery tickets and often won.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a sister, Sheryl, Mrs. Monte Surat of St. Marys; a brother, Douglas Cook and his wife Cindy of Emporium; several nieces and nephews, D.J. Palmer, Tiffany Palmer, Lauren, Douglas II, Jonathan and Jacob Cook; and a great-nephew, Dylan Palmer.
A funeral service for Lee Joseph Cook will be held at the Barnett Funeral Home, 207 E. Fourth Street, Emporium, on Wednesday at 5 p.m. with the Rev. Paul S. Siebert, pastor, St. Mark Catholic Church, officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mark Catholic Cemetery, Emporium.
Visitation with video tribute will be held at the Barnett Funeral Home on Wednesday from 3 to 5 p.m.
