Lena M. Raybuck

Lena M. Raybuck, 79, of Smith Street, Ridgway, died peacefully at her home on Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013.
She was born in Portland Mills on Oct. 13, 1933, daughter of the late Perry and Mae Magee Dunn.
On Nov. 29, 1959, she married James P. Raybuck, and he preceded her in death on June 10, 2012.
She loved to travel and spend time with her husband and friends. She was employed for over 37 years at the Elk County General Hospital (Elk Regional Health Center) in the cafeteria and served meals for the Ridgway Meals On Wheels Program, retiring in July 2012. Her kind smile and generous spirit touched many lives. She will be deeply missed. She was under the excellent care of the Community Nurses Hospice Program and Home Health Support for the past few months. She wished to live at her home cared for by a dear friend, Libby Herbstritt.
She is survived by several nieces, Frances Kroemer of Warren and Sue Pistner of St. Marys.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Kathrine (Kate); and by four brothers, Gerald, Paul, Lawrence "Eugene," and William Dunn.
Funeral Services for Lena Raybuck will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 11 a.m. in the Meehan-Shilk Funeral Home. Officiating will be the Rev. Roger Peterson, pastor of the Trinity United Methodist Church.
Interment will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday for one hour prior to the service.
