LHU Clearfield offering Marcellus Shale class

Lock Haven University Clearfield Campus is offering an extended education class to teach those looking to work in Pennsylvania's growing gas industry.
"The Marcellus Shale Industry Overview will be a 30-hour class about the geology and industry of Marcellus Shale and gas rich shale units, plus the business aspects of gas drilling. This course is designed for anyone seeking to learn more about the industry as a citizen, student, or professional," as stated in an LHU Clearfield press release
"By taking the class, you will learn about the gas and drilling industry and the different jobs necessary to support it," said Matt Checchio, Marketing Director for LHU Clearfield Campus.. "Students in high school could even find this to be a perfect opportunity to learn how to get started on a career in the gas and drilling industry. The education you receive can make you more employable within the industry and jobs related to the industry."
