Lillian Maculata Finno

Lillian Maculata Finno, 87, of 1647 Silver Creek Rd., Johnsonburg, died on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at her residence following a lengthy illness.
She was born Oct. 8, 1924, the daughter of the late Carmen and Immaculata DiNophrio Finno.
She resided in Johnsonburg her entire life and graduated from Johnsonburg High School in 1941.
She was a member of the Holy Rosary Church. Her hobbies were cooking and baking and she enjoyed sharing with all her friends. She loved people and animals. She devoted much of her free time to volunteering in causes she thought would be beneficial to society.
She was employed by Penntech Papers in Johnsonburg for several years and the Smith Keats Agency, from which she retired.
She is survived by one sister, Gloria Finno, with whom she made her home; one niece, Carol Olszewski Smrekar of Johnsonburg; one nephew, Tom Olszewski of Gaithersburg, Md., and two great-nieces.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Olszewski and Theresa Finno, and two brothers, Anthony and Angelo Finno.
A private funeral service for Lillian Maculata Finno will be conducted at the Anthony Ferragine Funeral Home Inc. on Friday, July 15 at 10 a.m., with the Rev. David Wilson, pastor of Holy Rosary Church, officiating. Interment will follow at the Holy Rosary Cemetery in Johnsonburg. There will be no visitation.
