Lions Club to take the 'reins' on annual breakfast with Santa

November 24, 2011

Photo by Amy Cherry - The St. Marys Lions Club, shown here at Light Up Night in downtown St. Marys on Nov. 17, will again be holding the annual "Breakfast with Santa" at Gunners restaurant on Dec. 3 from 9 to 11 a.m. The Lions Club sees the event as a chance for them to express their gratitude for the community's support and give something in return.

With the holiday season upon us, the St. Marys Lions Club is hoping to take the opportunity to show their appreciation for the community's support throughout the year by holding a "Breakfast with Santa" on Dec. 3 from 9 to 11 a.m. at Gunner's Restaurant in St. Marys.
At the breakfast, there will also be goodie bags for the children and of course Santa, who will be checking his list. The children will then have a chance to sit on Santa's knee and tell him what they want for Christmas. As in years past, the Lions Club will be taking pictures of children with Santa, but parents are invited and encouraged to take their own. Admission to the breakfast will be $3 per person, with children four years of age and under free.
