Lois J. Bryndel

Lois J. Bryndel, 82, of 126 Elk Ave., Ridgway, died Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at Elk Regional Health Center.
She was born August 10, 1929, in Ridgway, the daughter of the late William B. and Florence C. Hathorn Wagoner.
She married James E. Bryndel, who predeceased her on February 22, 2004.
She had been a lifelong Ridgway resident and was a member of St. Leo Catholic Church. She was a longtime hospital volunteer and she attended many prayer groups. She especially enjoyed going out to eat with her family and friends.
Over time, she had been employed at the Home Telephone Co., St. Marys Carbon and the Ridgway Area School District.
She is survived by six children, Kathy Carr (Randy) of Ridgway, Eileen Best of St. Marys, Robert Bryndel of Ridgway, Wayne Bryndel (Jane) of Ridgway, Darrell Bryndel of St. Marys, and James Bryndel (Jodi) of El Paso, Texas; five grandchildren, Amanda Reed, David Best (Ashley), Clint Bryndel, Devin Bryndel, and Chelsea Bryndel; three great-grandchildren, Saige, Milayla, Keira; and by two brothers, William Wagoner (Alice) of California, Md., and James Wagoner (Pat) of Owensboro, Ky.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Lois J. Bryndel will be celebrated at St. Leo Catholic Church on Friday, August 26 at 10 a.m. Officiating will be Fr. Brian Vossler, pastor. Interment will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens.
Friends will be received at the Meehan-Shilk Funeral Home on Thursday, August 25 from 5-8 p.m. A Wake Service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
