Lt. Col. Randall S. Weisner

Photo submitted - Lieutenant Colonel Randy Weisner is a St. Marys native and a 1987 graduate of Elk County Christian High School. Upon graduation from the United States Military Academy in 1991, Lt. Cl. Weisner was commissioned as an Infantry Officer in the Regular Army, and has since served in mechanized and airborne infantry, special operations, and foreign Army command and advisor billets.

ST. MARYS - Lieutenant Colonel Randy Weisner is a St. Marys native and a 1987 graduate of Elk County Christian High School. Upon graduation from the United States Military Academy in 1991, Lt. Cl. Weisner was commissioned as an Infantry Officer in the Regular Army, and has since served in mechanized and airborne infantry, special operations, and foreign Army command and advisor billets.
Currently stationed at Fort Bragg, N.C. with employment as the Director of the U.S. Army's Infantry Warfighter Forum, Weisner's previous duties include troop command at every grade through Lieutenant Colonel and staff appointments at Battalion, Brigade, and Corps level. He has served operationally in Haiti and Kuwait, and served seven combat tours, with multiple deployments to both Iraq and Afghanistan.
His honors and awards include Valorous and Meritorious Unit Citations, four Bronze Star Medals, four Meritorious Service Medals, and three Joint Service Commendations. He has earned the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Master Parachutist Badge, and the Ranger Tab, and also holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from West Point.
The son of James and Junette Weisner, Randy is married to the former Candace Underwood of Daytona Beach, Fla. They have two children, twins Sarah and Ethan.
