Ludlow woman en route to funeral is in crash

March 28, 2013

Photo by Ted Lutz This is the scene at the Thursday accident on Route 6 just west of Ludlow. Workers are unloading chips from an overturned wood chip trailer. The chips are loaded into a Dyne Excavating truck (left) and hauled away. Following the impact with a car, the truck rolled over and snapped a PennElec utility pole (right), downed power lines and left Ludlow without electrical and telephone service.

LUDLOW – "God's hand was on me in that car."
That's the inspiring comment from the Rev. Jeanne Beers of Ludlow after she miraculously escaped serious injury in a spectacular traffic accident Thursday morning on Route 6 near her home.
