Margaret M. Dugan

Margaret M. Dugan, 93, formally from Lake Shore Dr., Chicago, Ill., died Jan. 7, 2013 at the Illinois Masonic Hospital in Chicago after a long illness. 
Born on Nov. 4, 1919, in Brockway, she was the daughter of the late John and Virginia Suhanowski Dugan.
Margaret graduated Valedictorian from Brockway High school in 1938. She went on to attend secretarial school and have a successful career, which included being the secretary to Federal Judge Edwin Robson 
before working at the University of Chicago Law School, where she was secretary to the Dean. In her later years, she was the office manager for two major law firms, Rooks, Pitts, Fulgar and Poust, then Purcell & Wardrope, Chartered. 
She is survived by nephews and nieces: Pauline Dugan Saunders of Virginia, Dr. Paul J. Dugan of California, Mark Dugan of Brockway, and John (Jack Dugan) of Dubois. She is also survived by many grand- and great-grandnephews and -nieces. 
She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers: Paul, Charles, Joseph, John, Francis, and Thomas, and two sisters: Marion and Anna. 
She was the last member of her immediate family. 
A Mass of Christian Burial for Margaret M. Dugan will be celebrated on Thursday, Jan. 24 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Tobias Church in Brockway, with the Msgr. Charles Kaza as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Tobias Cemetery in Brockway. 
Arrangements are under the direction of the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home, Brockway.
