Margaret V. Anzinger, 83, of Elk Haven Nursing Home, St. Marys, and formerly of Elk Towers and Weedville, died peacefully surrounded by her family at Elk Haven Nursing Home on Saturday afternoon, Feb. 23, 2013.
She was born June 25, 1929 in Johnsonburg, a daughter of the late Herbert and Marie Lukehart Fox.
On May 31, 1958, in Tyler, she married John Anzinger, who survives.
She lived most of her life in Bennetts Valley and was a member of the Sacred Heart Church.
In addition to her husband, John Anzinger, she is survived by a daughter, Donna Aloi and her husband Chuck of St. Marys; and a granddaughter, Jami Aloi of Pittsburgh.
Besides her parents, Herbert and Marie Lukehart Fox, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Darlene, who died Oct. 7, 2003; five brothers; and four sisters. Mrs. Anzinger was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial for Margaret V. Anzinger will be celebrated at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 323 Center St., St. Marys, today, Monday, Feb. 25 at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Eric Vogt, OSB, as celebrant.
There will be no visitation.
