Mark R. Mattivi, 51, of 108 Meadow Lane, Kersey, died unexpectedly on Monday, Sept. 10, 2012 at the DuBois Regional Medical Center.
He was born Sept. 15, 1960, in St. Marys, the son of the late John A. and Rita A. Catalone Mattivi.
He was a lifelong resident of the area and attended St. Marys schools. He was an employee of SGL Carbon Co.
Mr. Mattivi was a member of the St. Marys American Legion, the Sinnemahoning Sportsmen's Club, enjoyed riding his motorcycle and going to see Confederate Railroad, and enjoyed running the sound board for Sixpak.
He is survived by two sisters, Cynthia Benson (Tracy) of Daguscahonda and Jennifer Keniston and her fiance Kevin Wolfel; three brothers, Timothy Mattivi (Diane) of St. Marys, John A. Mattivi and his friend Cindy Szymanski of Kersey, and James A. Mattivi of Kersey; nine nieces and nephews, Brittany and Daniel Brendel, Jessica Kilhoffer, William Benson, Ashley Mattivi, Gage Keniston, Jazlin Keniston, and Casey and James Rohrback; and three great-nieces, McKinnley, Airyana, and Madalynn; and two great-nephews, Hunter and Austin.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Mark R. Mattivi will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 14 at St. Boniface Church, with the Rev. Eric Vogt, OSB, as celebrant. Burial will be in the St. Boniface Cemetery.
Visitation is at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Thursday, Sept. 13 from 5 to 8 p.m.
