Mary Beth Norton

Mary Beth Norton, 55, of Shelbyville, Tenn., died Monday, July 29, 2013 at her home.
She was born September 17, 1957, in St. Marys, daughter of the late Lavern and Irene Krieg of Unionville, Tenn.
She has been a resident of Shelbyville, Tenn. since 1980.
She graduated from Tennessee Technology Center as an LPN in 1982. She worked at Bedford County Hospital as a critical care nurse for 15 years. She enjoyed horseback riding, softball and baseball with her children, and spending time with her family and her dog Justice. She was active in volunteer work and “Toys for Tots.” She was a devoted wife to John and a loving mother and friend to all. She will be sadly missed.
She is survived by her husband, John H. Norton III, Attorney at Law; a son, Shawn Taylor; a daughter, Korie Beth Hunley; a granddaughter, Madison Taylor; a brother, Lavern M. Krieg Jr. of Alton, Illinois; a sister, Beverly J. Ferragine of St. Marys; a niece, Karen (Chris) Phillips; and five nephews, David and Brian Ferragine, Kenny and Scotty Rosenhoover, and Timothy E. Krieg.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles A. Krieg; a sister, Brenda Rosenhoover; and a nephew, Kenneth Rosenhoover.
Visitation with the family of Mary Beth Norton will be held today from 4-6 p.m. at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel in Shelbyville, Tenn. with a memorial to follow at 6 p.m.
Memorials can be made to the Connie Davis Benefit or the Shelbyville Humane Society.
Feldhaus Memorial Chapel is assisting the family with the arrangements.
