Mary E. Pavlock

Mary E. Pavlock, 71, of 215 Taft Rd., St. Marys, died at her home Wednesday evening, May 30, 2012.
She was born April 9, 1941 in St. Marys, daughter of the late Alcuin E. (Ed) and Amanda M. Grotzinger Ehrensberger.
On June 10, 1967, in the St. Mary’s Church, she married Richard S. Pavlock, who survives.
She was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of Central Catholic High School, Class of 1959. She was also a graduate of Villa Maria College, Class of 1963. She was a former teacher in Marysville, Pa., at the St. Marys Public Elementary School and retired from St. Marys Parochial School.
Mrs. Pavlock was a member of the St. Mary’s Church and was president of the Parish Council for several years. She was active in the Christian Food Bank and Meals-on-Wheels, was a member of the C.D. of A. and volunteered in the St. Marys Parochial School cafeteria.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Amy (Steve) Layton of Mercersburg, and Rose (Philip) Beach of Venice, Fla.; a son, Steven R. (Diana) Pavlock of Alexandria, Va.; three grandchildren, Mackenzie Layton, Cade Layton and Alexandra Beach; three sisters, Ruth Ehrensberger of Annapolis, Md., Carolyn (George T.) Wissenbach of Washington, Pa., and Alice Bull, wife of Dr. James R. Bull of Coal Twp., Pa.; and two brothers, Leo E. (Bunny) Ehrensberger and George J. (Sandy) Ehrensberger, both of St. Marys.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Mary E. Pavlock will be celebrated in the St. Mary’s Church on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 12 p.m., with the Rev. Meinrad Lawson, OSB, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the Holy Rosary Cemetery in Johnsonburg.
Visitation is at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Friday evening from 5 to 8 p.m.
