Mary Jo Burfield

Mary Jo Burfield, 67, of Jefferson Manor, Brookville, and formerly of St. Marys died on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at the Clarion Hospital in Clarion following a lengthy illness.
She was born October 8, 1945 in St. Marys, a daughter of the late Ambrose and Bertha Brem Schreiber.
On October 11, 1969, she married the late David Burfield, who preceded her in death on February 14, 2000.
Mrs. Burfield was a member of St. Mary's Church. She graduated from St. Marys Area High School and had been employed by First Laurel Bank and Sylvania. She enjoyed her pets, especially her dog, Billy.
She is survived by five nephews, Wayne Greenthaner and his wife Denise of St. Marys, Jim Greenthaner and his companion Sandy Parsons of St. Marys, David Greenthaner and his wife Angie of St. Marys, Danny Greenthaner and his wife Chris of Kersey, and Ron Schreiber and his wife Mary of Wisconsin; a niece, Karen, Mrs. Paul Moorhead of DuBois; numerous great-nieces and nephews; and two sisters-in-law, Ellen Schreiber of St. Marys and Connie Schreiber of St. Marys.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert, Thomas, and Walter Schreiber; and one sister, Martha Greenthaner.
A Memorial Mass for Mary Jo Burfield will be held at the convenience of the family.
Burial will be in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
