Mary V. Dollinger

Mary V. Dollinger, 90, of 163 Hemlock Rd., St. Marys, died on Friday, Jan. 11, 2013 at Elk Regional Health Center following a brief illness.
She was born Sept. 22, 1922 in Ramsaytown, daughter of the late Steven and Agnes Krizmanich. On Aug. 25, 1945, in Our Lady of Christian Church in Byrnedale, she married William H. Dollinger. He preceded her in death on May 30, 1997.
Mrs. Dollinger was a graduate of Weedville High School, Class of 1940, and had resided in St. Marys since 1945. She was a former employee of Sylvania in Emporium (aka Girls' Town) during WWII. She had also worked at Speer Resistor and Kantar's Department Store.
She was a member of the Queen of the World Church, lived independently all her life, loved her family, friends and relatives, loved life to its fullest and loved to laugh. She also enjoyed reading and crocheting.
She is survived by a daughter, Patricia McLaughlin of St. Marys; two grandsons, Jason Dozor of St. Marys and Jude Dozor and his wife Christy of Huntington Beach, Calif.; a great-grandson, Nathan Dozor; one step-grandchild; and a daughter-in-law, Barbara Dollinger of Portland, Ore.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Michael William Dollinger and in infancy, Jerome James Dollinger. The youngest of nine children, she was also preceded in death by four sisters, Rose, Barbara, Kathryn and Helen; and by four brothers, Louis, Marko, John and Anthony. She was the last member of her immediate family.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Mary V. Dollinger will be celebrated in the Queen of the World Church on Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013 at noon, with the Rev. Michael Ferrick, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Boniface Cemetery in Kersey.
Visitation is at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Monday, Jan. 14, 2013 from 5-8 p.m.
