Matthew J. "Matt" Sprague

Matthew J. "Matt" Sprague, 30, of 235 West Center St., Johnsonburg, died Saturday, June 28, 2014 at his residence following a lengthy illness.
He was born Dec. 29, 1983, son of Lawrence "Larry" Sprague and Peggy Dickinson Sprague.
He graduated from Johnsonburg Area High High School in 2003 and resided in Johnsonburg all his life. He was a member of Holy Rosary Church, Central Hose Company, and was an avid Cinch player. He was a Walmart associate for 10 years.
He is survived by his mother with whom he resided, and his father, also of Johnsonburg; his paternal grandmother, Donna Sprague of Johnsonburg; and one brother, Jacob "Jake" Sprague of Cary, N.C.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Sidney Sprague; and his maternal grandparents, Elmer and Eleanor Dickinson.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Matthew J. Sprague will be conducted Tuesday, July 1 at the Holy Rosary Church, Johnsonburg. Officiating will be Rev. David J. Wilson, pastor.
Interment will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Johnsonburg.
Friends will be received at the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home, 401 Chestnut St., Johnsonburg on Monday evening, June 30, from 6-8 p.m.
If desired, memorial contributions should be made to the Johnsonburg Senior Center, 430 Center St., Johnsonburg, Pa. 15845 in honor of Matt's grandma and the card ladies.
