Maude Helen Wilson

Maude Helen Wilson, 73, of 78 Spring Brook Dr., Ridgway, died Wednesday evening, March 9, 2011 at UPMC-Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh following a lengthy illness.
She was born Aug. 19, 1937 in Ridgway, daughter of the late Theodore R. and Hazel A. (Sherman) Salberg.
She married Marshall E. Wilson on March 17, 1956, who survives.
She had resided in Ridgway all of her life and was a 1955 graduate of the Ridgway High School. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, had been a past member of the Church Finance Committee, a past member of the Rainbow Girls, a past board member of the Junior Womens Club, the Elk Capitol Band, a Lady Elk, and enjoyed bowling. She loved her husband and children, grandchildren and her great-granddaughter. She had been employed by the Home Telephone Company for several years.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Charles E. Wilson and his wife Laura of Fairview; three daughters, Marilyn E. Blint and her husband Scott of Portersville, Beth A. Cameroni and her husband Michael of Force, and Susan M. Ross and her husband Richard of Ridgway; 10 grandchildren, Breann, Brittany, Travis, Leann, Kole, Randi, Christine, Taylor, Joshua and Jenna; a great-granddaughter, Gianna; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son in infancy, David Marshall Wilson, and a brother, Charles I. Salberg.
A memorial service for Maude Helen Wilson will be held at the Trinity United Methodist Church on Saturday at 2 p.m. Officiating will be the Rev. David C. Roddy, pastor of the Trinity United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Thayer Memorial Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Thompson Funeral Home.
