McMillen held for court in contraband case

JOHNSONBURG – A preliminary hearing was held Wednesday before Magisterial District Judge George A. King for an inmate of Elk County Prison charged with possession of contraband or controlled substances in the prison.
Keenan McMillen, 21, of 182 Sara Rd., St. Marys, was held for court on all charges for an incident that occurred on April 12.
The Commonwealth's first witness was Matthew Lindenmuth, an inmate of Jefferson County Jail who was incarcerated at Elk County Prison during the time of the incident. Lindenmuth's cellmate was William Dowd, who is also charged in the incident but waived his preliminary hearing Wednesday.
