Memorial tree planted for Proudfit

Michael Proudfit's parents, Rick Proudfit and Julie Reuscher, are shown along with his sister Kylee spreading soil around a memorial tree purchased by his former classmates at ECC. The tree was planted near the St. Marys Community Pool at Memorial Park on Monday afternoon.

Becky Polaski At 4 p.m. on Monday afternoon, family, friends, classmates and fellow lifeguards of Michael Proudfit gathered at Memorial Park for the planting of a memorial tree in Proudfit's honor. Proudfit died following a car crash in February.
