Meter rates set to increase

August 7, 2013

Those utilizing Market and Brusselles street municipal parking lots will soon be paying more to park. The current meters allow for 2.5 hours for 25 cents, however new meters will decrease the time for the same amount at 1 hour for 25 cents.
Currently meters at the 25 cents per one hour rate are situated on on-street parking, along Depot Street, and the parking garage. The Brusselles and Market Street parking lots are the only two remaining lots where the meters have not been changed to the new rate.
