Michael H. Way

Michael H. Way, 67, of Mountain Laurel Nursing Home and formerly of St. Marys, died on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012 at Clearï¬eld Hospital.
He was born Jan. 3, 1945 in Janesville, Wis., a son of the late Thomas H. and Ruth Savage Way.
He was married to the late Judy Way.
Mike was a graduate of St. Marys Area High School, where he also played on the football team as the quarterback and then received a full scholarship to Miami University. He served in the U.S. Army as a military policeman and was honorably discharged in 1968. 
He worked for Speer Carbon in St. Marys and in Niagara Falls until he moved to Florida in the late 70s. Mike enjoyed spending time with his friends, especially Andy Kaul IV, at the St. Marys Library and at DD's Bakery.
He is survived by a brother, James Way, and his wife Sherry of Lake Wales, Fla.; and a nephew, Craig Way and his wife Stephanie.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas J. Way.
Relatives and friends of Michael H. Way are invited to attend a memorial service which will be held at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home, 151 North Michael St., St. Marys, on Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012 at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Bernard Kneffley ofï¬ciating.
There will be no visitation.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made his brother's ministry, Capernaum Ministries, 3500 Canal Rd., Lake Wales, Fla 33898.
