Michael S. Taylor, 63, of 135 Houston Rd., St. Marys, died Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at his residence.
He was born June 16, 1951 in St. Marys, son of the late Kenneth R. Taylor and Anna Kematick Taylor, who survives.
He was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of St. Marys Area High School, Class of 1969. He was employed by GKN Fairview.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed spending time with his niece, Mollie Taylor.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a brother, Glenn R. Taylor of St. Marys, and by a nephew and several nieces.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Roger A. Taylor.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated in the Sacred Heart Church on Monday, Aug. 4 at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Eric Vogt, OSB, pastor, as celebrant. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
