Milliard taken into federal custody

JEFFERSON CO. - A Ridgway man headed to trial on arson, attempted murder and drug charges in Elk County has been remanded into federal custody by the U.S. Marshals Office on weapons charges filed against him and a Johnsonburg man in federal court.
Francis Anthony Milliard, 55, of 76 Long Level Rd., Ridgway, was taken into federal custody by U.S. Marshals on Feb. 11 to answer to federal firearms charges filed against him and his co-defendant in the matter, David A. Blashaw, 55, of Johnsonburg, claiming the two conspired to furnish Milliard, a previously convicted felon, with guns.
