ST. MARYS – An internal investigation has reportedly revealed that human error caused a Jan. 30 industrial oven explosion that left one worker dead and another injured.
Incorrect placement of materials in an otherwise properly functioning curing oven was the cause of the explosion, according to Noah Nichelson, general manager with Mersen USA-St. Marys.
