Motorcyclists enjoy 'Ride for the Elk'

The Keystone Elk Country Alliance (KECA) held its first annual Motorcycle Ride for the Elk on Saturday, July 27 and, despite the rainy weather, 58 motorcyclists turned out for the roughly 75-mile ride. Carla Wehler, KECA member and operations manager of the Elk Country Visitor Center in Benezette, explained that the event, which raised funds for KECA's conservation programs, was a way to welcome motorcyclists to Elk Country.
