Nancy Bille Bleggi

Nancy Bille Bleggi, 58, of Gaithersburg, Md., died on Aug. 23, 2014 in home hospice surrounded by her family and beloved dogs.
She was born in St. Marys to the late Richard and Betty Bille of Gypsy Road, and was married to Scott Bleggi, also a St. Marys native.
Nancy was a tireless advocate for improved educational and therapy services for the disabled in the Washington, DC metro area and overseas during her husband's foreign service assignments.
Her family and friends remember her strong spirit and bravery in the face of adversity. She approached life's challenges with determination and a sense of humor, and helped inspire all who knew her, especially many fellow parents of children with special needs.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter Jillian of Washington, DC, and her sister, Mary Jo Turner of Clearfield.
She was predeceased by an infant son in 1982 and a daughter, Gina Marie, in 2010.
