Nancy L. Jones

Nancy L. Jones, 74, of Chestnut Street, St. Marys, died Sunday, Dec. 25, 2011 at Pinecrest Manor after a lengthy illness.
She was born March 20, 1937 in Johnsonburg, the daughter of the late Paul and Helene (Kilhoffer) Stahli.
She was born and raised in Johnsonburg, lived 30 years in Ridgway and the past 15 years in St. Marys. She was a graduate of Johnsonburg High School, Class of 1954. She worked as a secretary for Ridgway Color, Bethlehem Lutheran Church and the Elk County Prison Warden, retiring in 2009.
She helped with the Animal Protection Association and loved to spend her time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by James R. Laughner of Ridgway; her sisters, Maxine Lechien and June Taylor; her children, James A. (Linda) Laughner of Lebanon, Pa., and Michelle (Mark) Holsopple of Wilcox; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and her longtime loving companion, Donald J. Robinson of Ridgway.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by James R. Jones Jr.; and three brothers, Paul, Harold and Donald Stahli. 
A funeral service for Nancy L. Jones will commence at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 30, 2011 at the Ubel Funeral Home of Johnsonburg, with Pastor Edward Burkett officiating.
Burial will take place in Ott Cemetery, Ridgway.
Friends will be welcomed at the funeral home on Friday, Dec. 30, 2011 from 9 to 11 a.m.
The family suggests memorials to the Humane Society of Elk County.
