Naomi F. Posteraro

Naomi F. Posteraro, 94, of 436 Ash St., St. Marys, died Friday, July 25, 2014 at the Penn Highlands DuBois after a brief illness.
She was born May 26, 1920, in Brockway, daughter of the late Antonio and Celeste Montanari Berardi. She was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of the Brockway High School.
On Oct. 25, 1941, in the Saint Tobias Church in Brockway, she married Samuel F. Posteraro who preceded her in death on June 17, 2006.
Mrs. Posteraro was a member of the Queen of the World Church and enjoyed being with her family. She was a retired employee of Powdered Metal Products.
She is survived by three sons, Dennis S. Posteraro and his wife Donna of St. Marys; Joseph A. Posteraro and his wife Patricia of St. Marys; and Ronald A. Posteraro and his wife Namthip of McDonald; seven grandchildren, Stephanie Shields, Celeste Wilson, Melanie Brouse, Erica Hayes, Lynn Pahl, Mark Posteraro, and Aaron Posteraro; 12 great-grandchildren, Kara Dornish, Allison Shields, Tammy Shields, Holly Shields, Curtis Wilson, Nicole Wilson, Sophie Brouse, Samantha Hayes, Nicholas Hayes, Lucia Hayes, Tony Brouse, Gianna Brouse; and by a brother, Dominic Berardi and his wife Edith of Brockway.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Edith Ruberto, and by two brothers, John Berardi and Mario Berardi.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Naomi F. Posteraro will be celebrated in the Queen of the World Church on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Richard Allen, pastor, officiating.
Burial will follow in the St. Marys Cemetery. Visitation is at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Monday evening from 6–8 p.m.
