ST. MARYS - Members of the St. Marys Chamber of Commerce, along with personnel from Advanced Auto Parts, were on hand Saturday morning for the grand opening of the company at its location at 900 South St. Marys St.
Advanced Auto Parts District Manager David Sinisi said that with a number of auto parts stores already in the vicinity, Advanced Auto Parts plans to distinguish itself from the others through the quality and level of the services it offers.
"We are going to out-service our competition," Sinisi said.
Sinisi said that the store offers free services, including windshield wiper replacement and battery installations, the second following a complimentary check of the vehicle's electrical system and old battery.
James Mock, general manger, said the store will pride itself on offering the best comprehensive service to customers and also focus on commercial clientele.
According to company officials, the store will offer parts delivery to local commercial customers like professional mechanics and garages.
Sinisi said the store's 10-member team will be on hand to assist customers and that "the right parts at the right price are as important as the right advice to finish the job."
According to company officials, the store will also be a recycling drop-off site for used motor oil and batteries.
