Norma J. Whalon

Norma J. Whalon, 84, of Elk Haven Nursing Home, and formerly of 110 Wehler Rd. in St. Marys, where she made her home with her daughter, died Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at Elk Haven Nursing Home.
She was born Aug. 20, 1926 in Independence, Kansas, a daughter of the late Walter Raymond and Hazel P. Thomas Bryant
She was married to the late Robert Copello, who preceded her in death in 1976. She was later married to Lawrence Whalon. 
Mrs. Whalon had always enjoyed reading.
She is survived by two daughters, Karen Dean and her husband F.F. Dean Jr. of Plano, Texas, and Janice, Mrs. Robert L. Smith of St. Marys; a son,
Donald R. Copello of McKinney, Texas; two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral and committal services for Norma J. Whalon will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
Burial will be in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
