Norma Jean Reider

Norma Jean Reider of Kingston, Mass. died on Thursday, April 17, 2014 after a brief illness at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston, Mass. She was attended by her immediate family.
Mrs. Reider was a longtime resident of St. Marys, and an active member of the Queen of the World Church. She was employed by the Sears & Roebuck Company as the credit manager of their St. Marys retail operations and, in retirement, was active as a member and officer of the St. Marys Senior Center. She moved to Kingston, Mass. to be close to her immediate family.
Norma is preceded in death by her loving husband Claude A. Reider; mother Eva (Haines) Meyer and father William J. Meyer, also her brother and sister, Hiliary and Ethel Meyer.
She is survived by her only daughter, Linda R. Cahill, and her husband Donald E. Cahill; her grandsons, Shawn M. Piccozzi and wife Jill, Joshua Cahill, Ian Cahill and his wife Jacqui; and great-grandchildren Braydon Cahill and Isabellla Piccozzi.
Norma is also survived by her brother, Willis R. Meyer, many nieces and nephews as well as great-nieces and great-nephews, many of who remain in the St. Marys area.
Funeral services for Norma Jean Reider will be held at the Queen of the World Church, Queens Road, St. Marys at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2014.
