North Central in decent position with state budget

RIDGWAY – The North Central Pennsylvania Regional Planning and Development Commission held its monthly executive board meeting in Ridgway on Wednesday morning to discuss current projects and initiatives, as well as future and past budgeting issues.
Bob Rusiewski, North Central's Appalachian Regional Commission program director, started the meeting with proposals for four separate regional projects that included a $570,000 proposal for the North Central Partnerships for Regional Economic Performance, a $300,000 proposal for a simulated learning lab to be placed at the Lock Haven University Clearfield Campus, a $1.039 million access road project at the Bradford Regional Airport, and a $1.57 million proposal for an access road at the intersection of U.S. Route 219 and Pa. Route 28.
