As part of their celebration for the 10th anniversary of their office in downtown St. Marys, Northwest Savings Bank made a $500 donation to the St. Marys Public Library on Thursday morning to mark the occasion.
"We were trying to look over all of how we could benefit the community more as a whole, and we knew there were some projects going on at the library that needed some funding, such as the e-books," said Russ Daniels, assistant branch manager at Northwest Savings Bank's downtown St. Marys office.
St. Marys Public Library Director Scarlette Corbin indicated that the funds will be used for the purchase of general collection materials such as DVDs, books, and audiobooks.
