Olga "Dolly" Stormer, 96, of Silver Creek Terrace, St. Marys, and formerly of 315 Arch St., St. Marys, died on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Elk Regional Health Center.
She was born July 15, 1916 in Sykesville, a daughter of the late Simon and Mary Pavlick Smeal.
On Aug. 17, 1942 in Ridgway, she married the late Joe W. Stormer, who preceded her in death on April 25, 2004.
Mrs. Stormer graduated from Sykesville High School.Â She was a member of Queen of the World Church.Â She worked with her husband for many years at his pharmacy and assisted with the operations of the pharmacy.Â She enjoyed reading, traveling and playing bridge.Â She also enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by four nieces, Josephine, Mrs. Jake Caylor of DuBois, Judy Olson of St. Marys, Janice Malcarne of Dubois and Maggie Smeal-Hattler of California; a nephew, Henry "Frank" Smeal of New York; her close friend, Jeanne Klancer of St. Marys; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Ted, John, and Frank Smeal; and two sisters, Pauline Alexander and Dorothy Schwabenbauer.Â
Relatives and friends of Olga "Dolly" Stormer are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at the Queen of the World Church, 134 Queens Rd. in St. Marys, on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at noon, with the Rev. Michael Ferrick, pastor, as celebrant. Burial will be in the Morningside Cemetery in DuBois.Â
There will be no visitation.
