Bennetts Valley Elementary will soon be home to a new outdoor learning classroom.
The classroom is being incorporated into the existing outdoor stage on the school's property and consists of an open-style, amphitheater structure.
Plans for the location were presented at Thursday evening's St. Marys Area School District board of directors workshop.
Bennetts Valley Elementary Principal Noel Petrosky said the $3,800 cost of the structure is fully funded by the school's Parents Teacher Organization (PTO) as well as from a $1,000 donation for EQT Resources.
