According to Anne Herzing, a coordinator for the Nicholas J. Sinibaldi Holiday Concert Band's Christmas concert, over 250 people attended Saturday evening's concert, which was held this year at Sacred Heart Church.
"The musicians were very pleased with how the concert turned out," Herzing said. "It was a new experience for most of us playing in a church setting. When performing in an auditorium with built-in acoustics, your only concerns are listening to the whole group and playing as one ensemble. In the church setting, where there are limited acoustics, you had to pay attention to the sound bouncing off the walls. Then again, it can also make a musical piece very exciting to listen to."
