Over 300 youth turn out for Inner Park Day at Memorial Park

July 10, 2013

Wednesday may have dawned overcast and rainy, but the Memorial Park staff decided to stick with their plans for Inner Park Day, and by the time signups were nearly complete the rain had stopped and the sun had begun to poke through the clouds. It may not have been the 75 degrees and sunshine that park staff had hoped for, but the rain stayed away for the rest of the event and a record turnout of around 320 youngsters between the ages of 5-14 showed up to spend an enjoyable day at the park.
